The Scrumptious Sisig Fries Recipe – Keeping the Love Alive

Newsflash: “A couple rarely kisses each other anymore!” Well, for me that’s old news. There are lots of couples, especially the married ones who are rarely seen doing PDA anymore. It’s not that they don’t love each other, but they are just in a stage that everything is so damn comfortable. But, here’s the thing, married or not, in a very long relationship or not, you have to keep the love flowing through your veins, even if it means that you have to grab your partner’s ass in front of everyone. Make sure that you still show your partner a thing known as “Passion”. I promise you if you continue to act as if your love is new, you will surely have the most passionate and most romantic relationship that anyone has ever have. A good example is your left over sisig. Even if it still tastes good as it is, would it be nice if you can turn it into a something new just by adding a few ingredients to it? Just like a relationship, TLC is all you need for it to blossom once again. With that, here is a unique pinoy recipe; The Crispy Sisig fries.

Sisig Master Leftover
French fries
Sour cream
Liquid cheese
Hot sauce

How a Crispy Sisig Fries Pinoy Recipe is Done:

  1. Create a batch of crispy fries
  2. Once crispy fries are done, place it on a dish with napkin to remove the excess oil.
  3. After a few minutes, you may now transfer the fries on a serving platter.
  4. Top it with reheated Sisig Master’s leftover. Make sure to scatter the bits of sisig all over the fries for an equal serving
  5. Top it with sour cream (how much depends on you)
  6. Add in the liquid cheese (a lot of it is recommended)
  7. Add some hot sauce if you want it hot and spicy
  8. Serve immediately for a full blast experience

Tip: If you cannot find sour cream then you can just improvise. Whipping ½ cup cream and 2 lemons until it is smooth makes the pinoy recipe sour cream. Season with salt while whipping.

Lovers, I have repeated this again and again because it is important: YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP EXCITING ALWAYS. It is not an excuse that you are together for so long blah blah blah. If you want your partner to stay, give that person a reason to. It is simple yet oh so complicated, especially for the guys. Hahahaha bitterness aside, it is true! – xoxo your Sisig Master

You’re So Bitter Like Papaitan Recipe!

Bitterness on relationships is common especially today that third parties are most often than not, the most common cause of breakups. There is always someone who’s left behind sad, angry and wondering what lead to your break up. That person will go through stages from crying to cursing the life out of you. And then comes the part where that person will blame you for every single thing that ever happened to his or her life. Now, that is commonly known as the “bitter partner”. The thing that everyone should do is to accept the fact that it’s truly over. Do not force someone into doing something he or she doesn’t want to do. Acceptance is the way to be happy again. With that said, accept my gift to all the lovers out there who can relate; My bff’s famous papaitan pinoy recipe.

Oil
Minced garlic

Chopped onion
Diced ginger
Sliced green pepper
Beef innards
Water
Apdo
Tamarind soup base
Beef cubes
Salt and umami

How the Papaitan Pinoy recipe is done:

  1. Sauté garlic, onion and ginger in a shallow saucepan
  2. Add in the thoroughly rinsed innard and sauté. Make sure the innard is able to absorb the taste of the sautéed veggies. While doing that, you may now add in the green pepper.
  3. Season with salt
  4. Pour 1 cup of water. Let it boil on medium heat until the innards tenderize
  5. Once tender and you think the water is enough then you can add another cup of water. Let it simmer.
  6. Add tamarind soup base. You decide the amount based on how sour you want it.
  7. Add in the “apdo”
  8. You can add beef cubes for a better taste (this is optional but recommended)
  9. Season with salt and umami
  10. Serve and enjoy

You have to remember that it is you who will decide your happiness. If your partner doesn’t want you anymore, then all you have to do is to be thankful for everything you’ve been through, learn from it and then move on. It may be hard, but that’s just how it’s supposed to be. You will be happy again someday, somehow. –xoxo Your Sisig Master
