Crispy Fries For The Forbearing

I have a friend who continuously asks for my advice on her relationship. She is a beauty, but like other girls I know, a bit stupid on love. It's not that she has no choice, coz she's got a line of men wanting to court her. Now, after a great deal of heart to heart talk and endless debate on dumping this stupid guy, she still decides to  try to work things out, yet again! Oh well, since she cannot seem to get rid of this dumb ass, I just decided to teach her this amazing and relaxing foodie for the girls who just won't let go. FYI: This crispy fries recipe is so good, I personally have proven its effect.

This is the answer!

Here's my broken hearted friend. Ain't she pretty?

How Crispy French Fries should be made:

  1. Peel and cut the potato into a normal french fries cut or about 1/4 inch thick, If you have a french fry cutter, then you might as well use it for a better cut.
  2. Soak the uncooked potato fries in a bowl of water for about 2 to 3 minutes. This method is to remove the starch.
  3. Transfer the fries in a medium sized sauce pan.
  4. Put water into the sauce pan. The water level should just be enough to cover the uncooked fries.
  5. Put 2 tbsp salt and 2 tbsp vinegar
  6. Put the sauce pan on a high heat stove, and bring it to boil. This would take about 5 minutes. Keep in mind to allow it to boil for another 5 minutes once it reaches its boiling point.
  7. Rinse out the water and then soak it on cold water on it to stop the cooking process.
  8. Remove the water completely by draining it, and by laying the fries on a dry and clean cloth.
  9. Once completely dry, you can now put the fries on a preheated pan with oil. The fries should be submerged in oil or deep fried for no longer than 60 seconds or 1 minute. This process will remove the moisture out of the fries.
  10. Remove the fries from the pan and transfer it to a dish or plate layered with tissue paper to remove the oil.
  11. Refrigerate to freeze
  12. Once frozen or whenever you want to cook it, then you can just put the fries onto a high heat preheated pan with oil. Deep fry the potato fries into golden brown.
  13. Remove from heat and onto a dish layered with napkin to remove the excess oil.
  14. Season with salt to taste
  15. Eat and enjoy!

Now, this recipe may take longer than other french fries recipes but, I would attest that it is worth the effort. And, since this recipe are for those who just won't let go of a relationship even if they have to, then patience is not an issue anymore right? Go ahead and enjoy. I am pretty sure, this process will relax you especially when once you have tasted it.

This is definitely a must try! --xoxo your Sisig Master
